Terms of service


We will not sell to anyone under the age of 18 years of age. By placing an order, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age. Please note our couriers may challenge you to show valid ID upon delivery of your parcel.

When payment is processed and order is dispatched, the completion of the contract between us will take place. Unless payment has been taken, we will not be bound to supply your order. We reserve the right to cancel orders for any reason without notice.


Our deliveries are made by third-party courier. When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from them to confirm that your order is on its way. Please view the latest details on our delivery locations and procedure here.


All prices on our website include VAT.  Delivery is free of charge on orders over £80. We accept payment by Switch, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Our website and processes are secure and your payment will be processed by SagePay.


If you would like to cancel or return your order please, Contact us as soon as possible. You may return your order for any reason whatsoever up to 10 days after the day you receive it.

During this period, if you decide you would like to cancel or return your order please, contact us as soon as possible at info@twistedcellar.co.uk to notify us of your decision. If your order has been delivered, it is your responsibility to return it to: 30 South Street, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 3AT.

If the order has not yet been delivered, you may also refuse acceptance of the delivery from the driver and your order will automatically be returned to us at Twisted Cellar.

We are not able to refund bottles which have been opened since you received them. If there is any damage to your order when it arrives, you should notify us as soon as possible. We will refund you the cost of the damaged items or arrange to send you a replacement. Please see below for more information on the return and refund procedure for item quality.

Refunds will be processed within 10 days to the same method of payment you used to place your order.


Whilst we make every effort to ensure the proper cellaring of wines in our possession and will act in good faith in purchasing wines form suppliers and collectors, we cannot be responsible for the condition of wines or whether they show any attributes which might be expected.

It is at Twisted Cellar’s absolute discretion, whether we will consider requests for replacing or refunding the items which are undrinkable.

It is possible that sometimes vintages will differ than those listed on our website. We will always try to keep our listings updated and inform you of any changes as necessary.

Occasionally we run promotions that mean delivery is free over a certain threshold. We reserve the right to change this delivery threshold at any time and should this have been changed before you placed your order, we are under no liability to honour this threshold. Twisted Cellar has the right to end or amend any promotion at anytime without notice.

Promotions are as stated, are non-transferable, no cash alternative will be offered and no change will be given.

The offer only applies to products held in stock. Items must be purchased at advertised price and any discount voucher or code will be applied to this. Promotions are not available to be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount and are subject to availability.
